I’d love to do something more serious one of these days, but as time is sparse this project is currently on hiatus.

Anonymous asked: When do you hope to have the the project done by (or rather, whatever volume or piece of it comes first)?

I was planing to start drawing pages sometime this year but at the moment I am prioritizing other things in my life, and thus Sidereal is on hold until further notice. The things I’m doing right now will indirectly help me improve the stuff I’m pretty insecure about however. Also I’m hoping those things will help raise a interest in Sidereal once I get it going.
The things I’m talking about is my day job, it’s a start-up so a lot of time goes into that, but I’m also talking about LoSRH and 2Gag

Scaling stuff down

Just like all my other projects, Sidereal is becoming huge in the conceptual stage, to huge for me to handle on my own. So I’m scaling stuff back, removing unnecessary fluff and keeping it streamlined. I don’t feel like the story will suffer in any hypothetical quality it would otherwise have had, on the contrary, as I’ve mentioned I have nil experience in writing story’s and I’m learning stuff all the time, so scaling stuff down from my naively large project just feels like a natural progression In the road to improvement. This isn’t saying I have a lot of confidence in writing now, I still feel like a total hack in the area and if I want to start drawing Sidereal sometime this year I’m going at some point have to say “this Is good enough”

This is part of an early style test I did for Sidereal, I was fairly happy with it then but I’m not so sure about it now. We’ll see what happens.

Lack of updates

The short version is, stuff’s going on in my life and I tend to get a bit off balance when a lot of change is introduced into it.
No sad stuff’s going on, mind you, But I am moving out of town soon and stuff’s happening at work, good stuff hopefully, Stuff which I ain’t allowed to talk about.

I have some half finished stuff I might post soon just to keep the blog going, I was hoping to finish them first but I might do a progress stuff-thing of them instead.

I like to write “Stuff” a lot.

This is another early sketch that is, if I’m not mistaken, even older than the previous one I uploaded.
The purpose with it was pretty much like the other one, just wanted to get a feel for the world of Sidereal.
